AdBlue went into the diesel filler of a Navara at night. The customer didn't start it, rang us instead, and we booked it in for the next evening.
AdBlue in the fuel tank is the one you never crank. The customer didn't, and that saved the fuel system.
AdBlue is not a fuel and it does not behave like one. Run it through a diesel system and it crystallises where you least want it. Not turning the key mattered more here than on a normal misfuel.
Drained the wrong fuel out, put fresh diesel in from our own stock, started it and let it idle until we were happy. Job done on the spot.
